Engineering Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and inspiring his or her team to achieve their performance metrics. Your role will involve strategizing, project management, part staff management. Your collaborative attitude and interpersonal skills will help you thrive as an Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Managing timely delivery of commitments by providing necessary direction to team
  • Identify, design and implement solutions to meet customer needs based on ShopWorx Platform
  • Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to satisfy internal targets
  • Hire and Train resources
  • Lead the organisation's strategy from technical aspect to ensure alignment with its business goals
  • Customer communication to ensure successful delivery

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Should have 6+ years of experience in building end to end full stack product
  • Experience with building production systems for a startup or an Organization
  • Good command over NodeJs and its internals is expected.
  • Should be comfortable with RESTful web services/ APIs
  • Should be comfortable with MongoDB or similar No-SQL databases
  • Should be comfortable with server side technologies as well - Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Git etc
  • Should have good command over cloud infrastructure AWS (preferred), MS Azure or Google Cloud Applicants are strongly encouraged to share their github/bitbucket or product URLs
  • Should be willing to work in an agile startup environment and take complete ownership of the assigned responsibilities
  • Experience with leading and managing teams will be desirable

Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

  • Identify partnership opportunities
  • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
  • Maintain existing business'
  • Think critically when planning to assure project success
  • Achieving sales quota for our core product offerings
  • Driving full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closure and upsell
  • Working on creating newer offerings, geographies and channel relationships
  • Creating value propositions and ROI around our product offerings in multiple verticals

Must Have

  • Should have worked in Automation or Manufacturing Industry
  • Fair understanding of how the manufacturing and automation industry works
  • Experience of selling IT or automation solutions to manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience in enterprise sales in India with an ability to scale to global sales
  • Love for travel and a passion for technology evangelism
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Pipedrive

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years' prior automation or manufacturing related business development experience
  • 5 years' of business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
